As a few of you already stated; Deldrimor War Camp

Such a magical place it once was, I doubt that anything gamewise will ever affect me like that awesome patch once did. Also, The Granite Citadel has the same nostalgia to me, IDS - need I say more?

For hanging out, I love (as a few have mentioned already) Fisherman's Haven. I can look at the floating castle forever!

Boreal Station and Grendich Courthouse

Grendich for being extremely small, quiet and piecefull and always nearly deserted.
And Boreal, i often travel via Boreal to other places in EotN.
Its also small and quiet enough.

Everything small and colourful (so no way snowy/desert/ascalon landscapes). In my district almost everywhere is difficult to find even a single person so no problem of choosing an ignored outpost.
But generally I don't spend time in outposts unless I'm afk, and that usually happens in temple of balthazar. I like staying there so I can look at people's armours to get some inspiration.

Wizard's Island Guild Hall. Brings back the Pre-sear nostalgia

Quarrel Falls

Beacon's Perch. Like the snowfall effect.

I've had a few over the years. Quarrel Falls was one of the first, and for a while it was Tarnished Haven. Lions Arch is always a classic for me though and where I tend to hang out if i'm trading

Yak's Bend is one of my all-time favorite places. The first time I reached it there was a sense of "Okay, NOW I'm getting somewhere!" And I love soft snowy scenery. Amnoon Oasis would be a close second.

And of course Lion's Arch. Spending waaay too much time there these days.

This. Yak's bend had this awesome feeling of actually getting away from the desert-scarred ascalon. I also found the atmosphere amazing back the day: people were ready to cross the shiverpeaks, forming parties, doing some final trades before the long trek. The campfire and skill trainer with brand new skills were just a cherry on the top.

Spamadan and GToB ad 1. Wait, wut?

For peace and scenery and stuff, I'd have to say Kodash Bazaar, HzH, Borlis Pass, Quarrel Falls, and D'alessio seaboard.

I won't generally change games just to sit around and enjoy scenery, so I've got one for each game (with exception of the Realm of Torment... as I'm not a fan of there):
Proph/EOTN: Henge of Denravi
Factions: Monestary
Nightfall: Kodash Bazaar
PvP: Zaishen Elite

I liked the old Competition Arena outpost, too.

Hero Battles Outpost

I spent so much time there doing the thing I enjoyed most in GW. It was so peaceful and quiet when no one else was there or when all chat was turned off.

Though it is used for Codex Arena, it will always be the Hero Battles Outpost.

Marhan's Grotto, because it's the only place where you can see yourself walking like a normal person, and not running around all the time like Wonderland's White Rabbit.
